As human beings, we are much more than our physical body. We are BODY/MIND/SPIRIT. My intention is to create a safe and nurturing environment for everyone that I touch and to honor, respect and treat the whole person.

As we are all different, I believe that an individualized approach is most effective. I combine Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Work, Acupressure, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy according to each indiviual's needs and preferences.

Therapeutic Massage relieves stress, relaxes painful or tight muscles, increases circulation, assists in promoting correct posture and relieves joint pain. Massage flushes the lymphatic fluid through the body and thereby strengthens the immune system.

Hot Stone Therapy is a massage done with satin smooth oiled and heated stones. Basalt stones (which are high in iron content) are heated in a water bath and are also placed on areas that hold tension such as the neck, back and shoulders. The heat is very comforting and therapeutic as it dilates blood vessels and allows new blood to enter areas of restriction.

Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a gentle hands on method of healing that relaxes the body and brings it into balance to facilitate the flow of Ki, our Vital Life Force. When our Ki is blocked discomfort and disease result. Reiki promotes the normal regenerative processes of the body/mind and is a gentle but powerful method which addresses both chronic and acute conditions.

Craniosacral Therapy is a method of assessing and balancing the Craniosacral rhythm (the rhythm of the spinal fluid as it is pumped through the body). Tissue restrictions are also released through light touch. Tension, headaches, depression, back pain and numerous other conditions can be alleviated by Craniosacral Therapy.

In an Integrative Bodywork session, massage, hot stones, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, essential oils, and sound can be used in accordance with the individual's needs and preferences.
